The producer
In 2023, the family-owned group behind Badet Clément unveiled the Delaunay Vins & Domaines rebrand at Club Automobile de Paris. Laurent Delaunay said the new name brings together the Delaunays' Languedoc and Burgundian sides.
The restructuring focused on three core brands: Les Jamelles and Abbotts & Delaunay in Languedoc, plus Édouard Delaunay in Burgundy. Each is led by a family winemaker.

Where the wines begin
The group works across Burgundy and Languedoc, two French wine regions. Édouard Delaunay is the Burgundy brand, while Les Jamelles and Abbotts & Delaunay are the Languedoc brands. The Delaunay Vins & Domaines name brings both regions together under one company.
A regional name gives a broad origin; a grape name identifies the variety, while a village or appellation can narrow the place further. La Belle Angèle uses Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on its bottles, so the wines state their grape varieties directly.

The range in view
La Belle Angèle Pinot Noir is a 2024 red wine, and La Belle Angèle Chardonnay is a 2024 white wine. The bottle names state the grape variety and colour.
