The facility at Altos de José Ignacio, Maldonado, covers 7,226 square meters and was designed for efficient operation. Bodega Brisas is operated by AGROLAND SA. With an installed capacity of 5 million liters, Bodega Brisas is the largest winery in Uruguay by installed capacity as a single unit.

Where the wines begin

Constant Atlantic sea breezes reach the vineyards at Altos de José Ignacio. They dry humidity caused by excess rain, help avoid vineyard disease and moderate high summer temperatures. The breezes also allow the grapes to ripen well.

Brisas del Este Blend Selection has a very fruity taste with notes of plum, black pepper, blackberry, licorice, dark cherry and black currant. Altos de José Ignacio Albariño is made from 100% Albariño grapes and has a very fresh, fruity taste with notes of pear, Galia melon, white flowers, lime and herbs.
