The producer
Bodega Renacer's Punto Final range includes Punto Final Malbec and Punto Final Naranjo, a white wine made from Chardonnay. The Reich family founded the bodega in 2003 and led it for 20 years. Miolo Wine Group acquired the bodega in December 2024.

Where the wines begin
Bodega Renacer's vineyards encompass 30+ hectares at 1,000 metres in Mendoza. At that elevation, cooler nights can slow ripening and extend the time grapes spend maturing. Punto Final Naranjo is listed under the Mendoza appellation, the regional name used on its label.

The range in view
The Punto Final range sets a red Malbec beside a white wine made from Chardonnay. Punto Final Malbec shows deep violet colour with red hues. Violet and rose aromas lead into blackcurrant and raspberry, followed by a smooth, silky palate with round tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Punto Final Naranjo follows a red wine technique: its must remains with the skins for approximately 15 days, then ages in second use French oak barrels for three months. Skin maceration extracts colour and tannin from the skins, so Naranjo is darker than a conventional white wine. Second use barrels have already held wine, so they add less new oak flavour than new wood while still allowing the wine to mature in oak. Naranjo is vibrant and medium bodied, with a delicate balance of fresh acidity, minerality and earthy aromas, followed by a sweet finish.
