Bodegas Castaño was founded in 1950 by Ramón Castaño Santa, who helped elevate the profile of Monastrell. The estate operates close to 500 hectares of vineyards across several sites within the Yecla appellation. Its organic vineyards reflect environmentally respectful vineyard practices and favorable natural conditions.

The range in view

Hécula is hand-harvested in late September, fermented in stainless steel, then aged six months in French and American oak. Casa Cisca is a 100% Monastrell from very old unirrigated vines, while Hecula Organic Monastrell is a barrel-aged organic red.
