Where the wines begin
At the foot of the Pavie hillside, south of the Saint-Émilion village, Château Puy-Razac farms a single contiguous plot of 7 hectares. The ground is sandy clay. Clay can hold water, while sand leaves room for drainage, combining moisture retention with air around the roots.
