The producer
Château Soussans is the second wine of Château Deyrem Valentin. The estate traces its origins to 1730. The Sorge family purchased the property at public auction in 1928, and Jean Sorge has managed the estate since 1972. Jean Sorge is the current proprietor.

The range in view
The wine is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It ages for 12 to 15 months in French oak casks. Cabernet Sauvignon brings tannin, while Merlot gives softer fruit and texture. The nose is fresh and fruity, with perfumed strawberry jam and pleasant red fruit notes.
