Place and vineyards

Where the wines begin

The home address is Marsannay-la-Côte on the Côte d'Or. The wines also carry Côte de Nuits names, including Bonnes-Mares, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée. Burgundy labels use Grand Cru for a top vineyard tier and Premier Cru for a classified site within a village appellation. Marsannay Les Longeroies and Savigny les Beaune Premier Cru La Dominode add further named places to the red range.

Wines to know

The range in view

Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru and Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru occupy the Grand Cru level. Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes and Savigny les Beaune Premier Cru La Dominode are Premier Cru wines, while Vosne-Romanée Les Champs Perdrix and Marsannay Les Longeroies add further named bottlings.

Bonnes-Mares matures for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels with approximately 45% new oak. Its minimum cellaring potential is 10 years.
