The producer
Alain Blachon, a geologist and technology entrepreneur, acquired Domaine de la Bouvaude in 2020 and began its transition to organic agriculture that year. The domaine remains based in Rousset-les-Vignes and works across red and white wines, with Fruiandise Rouge and Fruiandise Blanc as named bottles.

Where the wines begin
Rousset-les-Vignes is the village address in the Drôme Provençale, within the Rhône Valley. Fruiandise Rouge and Fruiandise Blanc carry the Côtes du Rhône appellation, one as red wine and one as white. The domaine name identifies the producer, while Côtes du Rhône names the regional category on the bottle.

The range in view
The range moves from festive and light fruity wines through a middle tier to prestige cuvées. Fruiandise Rouge is 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Marselan, a red made for immediate drinking with juicy, fleshy texture and acidity balancing its fullness. Fruiandise Blanc is made from Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne. It has a bright yellow color, aromas of soft fruit and honeyed flowers, then a full, creamy palate with floral tones and good acidity.
