Vouvray Domaine Des Lauriers 2025 is a white wine carrying the Touraine appellation. The grapes come from vines aged 50 years or older. Fermentation runs slowly over two months, then the wine spends six months in steel tank, including two months on its yeast sediment. Lees ageing means the wine rests with the fine sediment left by fermentation, a practice that can add texture without adding oak flavour.
The 2025 white opens with yellow apple, spice, beeswax, herbs and grilled lemon. The palate is very fresh, with high acidity and 0.6 g/100ml residual sugar. The finish stays dry and bright, with grilled lemon and herbs returning after the fruit.
