The producer
Béatrice Dubois and Raphaël Dubois manage Domaine R. Dubois et Fils as siblings. Their family has nine generations of winemaking heritage. The range includes red wines made from Pinot Noir and white wine made from Chardonnay, with organic certification achieved in 2023.
Place and vineyards
Where the wines begin
Premeaux-Prissey is just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Côte d'Or. Bourgogne Rouge Côte d'Or Vieilles Vignes grows in clay-limestone soil with limestone dominance and a gravelly or stony texture. Clay holds water, while stones and limestone improve drainage. The bottling is fresh and vibrant, with finely integrated tannins.

The named bottles cover Bourgogne Rouge, a Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru red and a Côte de Nuits-Villages white. Bourgogne Rouge Côte d'Or Vieilles Vignes is 100% Pinot Noir from forty-year-old vines, and it develops harmoniously between three and four years in bottle.
Nuits-Saint-Georges Rouge 1er Cru Clos des Argillières is also 100% Pinot Noir. Premier Cru marks a specific vineyard classification within an appellation, giving the label a narrower place reference than Bourgogne Rouge.
