The producer
The domaine holds vineyards in Meursault and Puligny, with Meursault lieu dits and three premier cru parcels. Rémi Jobard took full control in 1996 and has worked without herbicides or pesticides since 1994.
The vineyard is cordon pruned, a system that naturally limits yields, and grassed over to encourage deep root penetration. In the cellar, two large presses work slowly over six hours. Élevage lasts nearly fifteen months, allowing the wines to develop slowly and avoiding fining.

The wider range includes Bourgogne Blancs based in Meursault and Puligny, Meursault lieu dits and wines from three premier cru parcels. Across the wines, ageing uses barrique and large older foudre. Barrique is a small oak barrel, while foudre is a much larger vessel; older oak contributes less fresh oak flavour than new wood.
