The producer
When Jean-Eugène Borie acquired Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste from Raymond Dupin in 1978, François-Xavier Borie took direct leadership of the Pauillac estate. The Borie family has owned it since then.
The estate's lineage reaches back to the 16th century. The family's connection to Médoc wine reaches the end of the 19th century, linking the château to a longer Borie history in the region.

Lacoste-Borie is the second wine. Its 2017 vintage is finely tannic, fresh in acidity, balanced without austerity, and marked by innate complexity.
