Arrogant Frog joined the portfolio as a wine brand, alongside Côté Mas wines that range from rosé to red and white styles. The company works with respect for family heritage and rural roots while seeking excellence.
Place and vineyards
Where the wines begin
The family vineyard line began in Pézenas, in the Languedoc wine region. Today Clos Astelia sits between Montagnac and Villeveyrac and has served as the company's operational center since 2014.
This is a multi estate operation, with a named working center alongside vineyards spread across diverse terroirs and several wine lines.
Wines to know
The range in view
Côté Mas Rosorange 2024 is a rosé made with white grapes and Grenache Gris. Skin maceration for 6 to 8 days at controlled temperature gives the must a light amber colour. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in two stages on the skins before the wine is pressed and blended back. The nose brings candied orange peel and quince with almond nuances reminiscent of cherry pits. The 2024 wine also shows stone fruit, fruitiness, a savoury twist and depth.
Arrogant Frog Cabernet Merlot is a red wine with a balanced palate, smooth tannins and a long finish. It can age for up to 5 years.
