The producer
Finca Biniagual is a family run historic hamlet of Moorish origin in the Binissalem wine region. Its land combines vines with olive, almond, citrus and carob trees. Forage and cereals feed approximately 300 sheep, and a beehive contributes to pollination and the balance of the ecosystem. Integrated Production minimises the use of fertilisers and plant protection products while prioritising environmentally respectful practices.

Where the wines begin
Stony soils mark the traditional Mallorcan wine growing area around Biniagual and are particularly well suited to vine cultivation. Bodega Biniagual and its wines are certified under DO Binissalem, Mallorca's first wine appellation. The winery makes its wines exclusively from grapes grown on Finca Biniagual's own estate.

The range in view
The current range comprises five red wines, three white wines, two rosé wines and one sweet wine. The red wines include Finca Biniagual Verán, Finca Biniagual Gran Verán and Finca Biniagual Mantonegro.
Mantonegro is a single variety wine. Gran Verán and Mantonegro ferment directly in French oak barrels or foudres. After destemming, grapes enter stainless steel tanks by gravity, protected from light and oxygen. All the red wines age between 12 and 18 months in oak barrels. After bottling, the wine continues to mature in bottle for a minimum of 12 months.
