Why it matters

The producer

Malvirà traces its winemaking story to Giuseppe Damonte, who began producing wine in his family winery during the 1950s. Renamed in the mid-1970s, the estate moved in 1989 to the foot of the S.S. Trinità vineyard. Today, a third generation continues the family tradition across Roero’s calcareous, sandy-veined soils.

Wines to know

The range in view

Renesio appears in both Roero Arneis DOCG and Roero DOCG Riserva: the former is an Arneis matured in stainless steel, while the latter is a Nebbiolo matured in oak barrels and bottle.
