Patriarche Père & Fils is a négociant and éleveur. The house buys wine from growers, ages it in its cellars, and resells it. Long term relationships connect Patriarche with vintners chosen for the quality of their vineyard work.
Maryline Gianna is Patriarche's cellar master. Potential purchases are assessed through tasting, laboratory analysis, appellation compliance, and suitability for blending. Casks, barrels, or vats are chosen by appellation and vintage. Patriarche Père & Fils is a Kriter Brut de Brut brand within the Castel group.
Place and vineyards
Where the wines begin
Patriarche's headquarters remain in the historic cellar complex in Beaune. Bottle ageing takes place in vaulted cellars beneath the former Visitandines Convent, where the galleries provide the physical setting for the house's long cellar work.
The public experience includes a self guided route through five kilometers of vaulted galleries, including structures dating from the 13th century, followed by a tasting of six Burgundy wines. The cellar complex remains both a working wine setting and a public destination.

The range in view
The range moves from a red Pinot Noir to white Chardonnay wines under Bourgogne and Chablis labels. Patriarche Pinot Noir is made entirely from Pinot Noir. Bourgogne Chardonnay Cuvée des Visitandines is Chardonnay sourced from several communes across Bourgogne.
Chablis Cuvée Léonce Bocquet is Chardonnay under the Chablis appellation, with a fruity and very fresh style. The Cuvée des Visitandines details for the 2025 bottling specify low temperature fermentation and French oak ageing for approximately 20 percent of the wine.
