Valle de Colchagua has been the home of Viña Santa Helena since its founding in 1942. The named red wines put Carmenère and Cabernet Sauvignon in their product names. A varietal wine presents one grape variety as the bottle's organizing label, so these bottles are separated first by grape.

Santa Helena's named Varietal wines divide by grape, with Santa Helena Varietal Carmenère in the 2024 and 2025 vintages and Santa Helena Varietal Cabernet Sauvignon in 2021. The 2024 Carmenère is a very fruity, youthful red with blackcurrant, fresh herbs, wild raspberry, green bell pepper and licorice, with soft tannins. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a separate red wine named for its grape variety; no tasting or cellar detail is established for it.
