Miniș is a PDO area in the foothills of the Zarandul Mountains. Sparkling wines made with varieties including Cadarcă and Mustoasă de Măderat can be fresh, fruity and well structured. Its white still wines have higher acidity than those from other Romanian vineyards, giving them strong storage potential. Furmint, Chardonnay and Mustoasă de Măderat can also suit maturation and ageing.
