Caves da Montanha ages its sparkling wines in long underground tunnels, where temperatures stay between 2 and 3°C. Cool cellar conditions slow the pace of wine development while the sparkling wine matures. Adriano Henriques founded the company in 1943. The business has passed from parents to children and is now in its fourth generation. It produces, commercialises and distributes beverages.
