Rémi Vervier is managing director of Palmer & Co, and Xavier Berdin is cellar master. The house's grape variety base is 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. Chardonnay is the white grape in the composition, while Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are the black grapes used in Champagne sparkling wine.
The house's range includes cuvées built around reserve wine, black grape composition and vintage Chardonnay. Its cellar team and grape proportions give the producer a clear working profile within Champagne.
Place and vineyards
Where the wines begin
Palmer & Co has two Champagne addresses in its history. The founding organization began in Avize under the name Société des Grands Crus de la Champagne. The house has been established in Reims since the founders bought the cellars of an existing Champagne house there.
Avize is the founding place, while Reims is the operating base. In Champagne, Reims and Avize are both associated with houses and vineyards whose grapes enter sparkling wines through blending, reserve wine use and vintage selection.

The range in view
La Réserve is the house signature, a blend led by Chardonnay and built around reserve wine. Reserve wine is still wine held from an earlier harvest and used in a later blend, allowing a Champagne cuvée to combine wines from different years.
Blanc de Noirs gives equal weight to Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the two black grapes in the house's grape base. Blanc de Blancs isolates Chardonnay in a vintage expression. The labels separate the range by reserve wine use, black grape composition and single grape vintage status.
