Pentro di Isernia, also permitted on labels as Pentro, was recognized in 1983. Pentro Bianco is based on Falanghina and Trebbiano Toscano, making a dry, fresh white. Its reds are based on Montepulciano and Tintilia and are darker and more structured than the white style.
