Vernaccia di Oristano gains its distinctive style through at least three to four years of oxidative maturation in partly empty oak or chestnut casks. Campidano di Terralba's grape-production zone spans named municipalities in the provinces of Oristano and Medio Campidano. Arborea and Sardegna Semidano are also listed within this Sardegna wine area.
