Drăgăşani is an official DOC area in Romania's Muntenia & Oltenia Hills. It sits on Oltenian hills, where Negru de Drăgăşani and Crâmpoşie gain fruit while slope exposure preserves freshness. The whites are generally light and highly acidic, with fresh floral aromas and a lively, fruity palate. Its reds have robust tannins and aromas of forest fruit, currant, spice, prune and bitter cherry.
