Goriška Brda's vineyards run from valley floors to higher slopes, where some of the best sites are found. Cool afternoon winds arrive from the Alps, while warmer winds come from the Gulf of Trieste. Opoka marl is closely associated with wines that are mineral, fresh and elegant.
