Friuli Colli Orientali follows a hilly strip in Udine province, from Tarcento and Nimis south and east through Cividale, Prepotto, Manzano and Corno di Rosazzo. Manual harvesting and technically advanced winemaking are part of local wine production. The listed appellations are Friuli Colli Orientali, Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit and Ramandolo.
