Prigorje-Bilogora stretches across the Croatian Uplands, from Prigorje between Medvednica and the Sava to the long hilly Bilogora country between the Sava and Drava. Vineyards occupy the foothills of Medvednica, Kalnik and Bilogora. Zelina has the largest number of market-registered producers in the area. Prigorje-Bilogora is a protected EU wine-origin name.
