Zagorje and Međimurje is part of Croatia's Croatian Uplands. In Međimurje, Pušipel is the only native variety identified with the area. It is made as standard-harvest, late-harvest, selected-harvest and ice-harvest wine. The wines are described as refreshing, with pronounced aromas. Zagorje-Međimurje is a protected EU wine-origin name.
