Coteşti's aromatic whites and fuller reds show different sides of the area. Riesling can bring citrus, green apple, apricot, peach and mango with lively acidity, while Traminer is described with rose, citrus and wood notes. Fetească Neagră is vigorous, spicy and fruit-driven, with oak ageing. Its reds can be fuller and more oak-marked than the aromatic whites.
