Kamptal is a wine area within Lower Austria, where cool Waldviertel air meets loess and rock terraces. Grüner Veltliner is fruity, peppery and high in acidity. Its Riesling has more body and fruit flavour than the lighter Kremstal expression, and the area also produces red wines.
